Ms Elizabeth Loughlin is a professional dance therapist with many years of experience working with mothers and infants across community, studio and clinical settings.

At the Austin Health Infant Clinic, she delivers dance and movement with music as a therapeutic intervention for mothers experiencing postnatal depression and their infants. This work aims to support the mother’s intuitive processes, which may be affected by postnatal depression, and to encourage expressive communication between mother and infant.

Elizabeth has published in this field and teaches at the International Dance Therapy Institute of Australia, as well as in creative arts therapies at the University of Melbourne School of Social Work.
