Chair of the Board

Emeritus Professor Lyn Littlefield OAM was appointed Chair of the Board in 2025 and has served as a Board member since 2019.

She recently retired as Executive Director of the Australian Psychological Society. Her previous roles include Head of the School of Psychological Science at La Trobe University and Inaugural Director of the Victorian Parenting Centre.

Lyn has been extensively involved in Federal Government advisory committees related to mental health and has held leadership roles in national initiatives such as KidsMatter and headspace. She also played a key role in securing Medicare funding for psychologists to deliver mental health services.

A clinical child and family psychologist, Lyn was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the welfare of children and families, and to the development and advancement of training and education in child, adolescent and family psychology.
