To help support their mental and emotional wellbeing during and beyond pregnancy, women can self-refer to MumSpace and the free MumMoodBooster treatment programs. Health professionals can also refer to MumMoodBooster via a dedicated Clinician Portal for additional screening and to monitor their patients mood, symptoms and risk.
About MumSpace
MumSpace is Australia’s one-stop website supporting the mental health and emotional wellbeing of pregnant women, new mums and their families.
MumSpace is designed to connect you quickly with the level of support you need, from advice and support in the transition to parenthood, to effective online treatment programs for perinatal depression and anxiety. The resources on MumSpace will help you ‘step-up’ to whichever level of support suits you best. MumSpace is also a resource for your healthcare professional. MumSpace is brought to you by the Perinatal Depression e-Consortium (PDeC), led by the Parent-Infant Research Institute (PIRI) in partnership with Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA), Monash University, Jean Hailes for Women’s Health and Queensland University of Technology.
The online resources and apps available through MumSpace are evidence-based and have been evaluated by the PDeC partners in research studies conducted here in Australia.

About the MumMoodBooster Treatment Programs
Antenatal and Postnatal Depression affect one in seven Australian women. Symptoms can include: Feeling sad most of the day; Losing interest in most activities and Feeling worried a lot of the time. If you’re expecting or have a new baby and are struggling to cope, feeling flat, sad or depressed, the MumMoodBooster programs may help.
Online treatment can be a highly effective option for parents to manage their mental and emotional wellbeing. MumMoodBooster is a government supported FREE online treatment program designed to help women anywhere in Australia who are experiencing depression either during pregnancy (antenatal depression) or after the birth of their baby (postnatal depression).
MumMoodBooster is Australia’s leading evidence-based treatment for postnatal depression. MumMoodBooster is designed to help women recover from postnatal depression. MumMoodBooster can be used to complement existing supports, or when access to face-to-face services is limited.
Mum2BMoodBooster is Australia’s leading evidence-based treatment for depression during pregnancy. Mum2BMoodBooster is a free online program designed to help women recover from antenatal depression. Mum2BMoodBooster can be used to complement existing supports, or when access to face-to-face services is limited.
About the MumMoodBooster Clinician Portal
Developed with GP’s, for health professionals, the MumMoodBooster Clinician Portal allows direct referral of patients to MumMoodBooster, where health professionals can monitor their patients mood. Once registered, you can start to refer patients to the MumMoodBooster program using the online referral form. Through the portal, health professionals have secure access to view their patients’ assessment results and monitor their depression symptoms and risk. Whilst a health professional may have already screened a patient, MumMoodBooster offers an additional EPDS screening assessment.
